Marine Research Hub of South Florida, Inc.

We are Marine Research Hub of South Florida, Inc. (MRH), a 501(c)3 nonprofit headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL, working at the intersection of ocean science and economic development. Our work is rooted in South Florida's rich marine environment, and we exist to help translate the region's world-class oceanographic research into real-world products, services, and jobs that strengthen Florida's Blue Economy. Through active collaboration across industry, academia, government, and the private sector, we facilitate the kind of cross-sector partnerships that move research out of the lab and into the marketplace. As a trade association, we work to elevate the visibility and reputation of South Florida's oceanographic and marine research institutions, connecting them with the pathways needed to commercialize nature-based and research-driven solutions. From technology transfer to workforce development, our programming is designed to harden marine infrastructure, attract and retain top talent, and generate measurable economic impact.
